Training for beginners operators-programmers of coordinate measuring machines, aimed at introducing metrological issues preceding the actual instruction in the operation and programming of coordinate measuring machines. The aim of the training is to provide basic knowledge to beginners operators of coordinate measuring machines and to equalize the level of knowledge of participants, enabling them to participate efficiently and competently in the subsequent stages of training.

1. The role of technical documentation in ensuring the quality of manufactured parts:
- learning the principles of creating a technical drawing
- learning the principles of reading and interpreting a drawing
- degrees of freedom - a way to understand measurement relationships and the basis for consciously building coordinate systems in measurement programs.
2. Drawing standards: ISO, ASME
- outline of applicable standards
