An essential part of coordinate measuring technology is quality assurance. The seminar with the target group of production metrology technicians lays down and consolidates basic production metrology knowledge for beginners and advanced metrology technicians according to the latest didactic findings. The latest knowledge on the subject of dimensional tolerancing, programming basics, measurement sequence planning and the machine and sensor technology used is imparted. A better understanding of the measurement tasks and influencing variables enables the measurement technician to reduce measurement uncertainties and thus make measurement results reliable and more comparable. The minimisation of costs and rejects is supported.
