Who benefits from taking the course?
Anyone who needs a good understanding of various form and position requirements and how they can be evaluated. You might work as a planner, designer, or in measurement and verification.
Why should you take the course?
The knowledge from the course is useful in your daily work, for example, in product specification, drawing reviews, measurement preparation, or when interpreting measurement reports in various situations.
What you will learn
The course is based on descriptions of form and position tolerances in the ISO standard. You will gain in-depth knowledge needed to describe, interpret, or verify product requirements with form and position tolerances. The exercises provide a good understanding of the practical implications of the requirements.
As a designer, the course gives you the knowledge needed to apply correct product specifications. If you use PC-DMIS, you will learn how the software handles evaluations of form and position tolerances.
Course duration
The course duration is a total of 4.5 days, of which three days are conducted at one of our measurement centers.
Course materials
A detailed course book and an exercise book with a large number of exercises.
Implementation
The course is divided into two parts:
Self-study with the course “Form & Position, web”.
Three course days at our measurement centers in Gothenburg or Eskilstuna.
Instructor-led sessions are combined with exercises performed in the PC-DMIS software in groups of two people.
