The m&h infrared receiver IRR91.42 infrared receiver ensures reliable reception of measurement and temperature data. It communicates with Hexagon infrared probes and tool setters and supports up to three different probing systems on a single machine. 

Application

• Used on Turning and milling centers, vertical turning machines, milling machines and machining centers
• It is also suitable for use on multi-axis machines with swivelling heads
• It is used for reception of the measuring signals from  different Hexagon machine tool measurement systems such as:
  - m&h Infrared touch probes IRP25.50-MY/PP and IRP40.02 (signal evaluation HDR+)
  - m&h Infrared touch probe IRP40.51 (signal evaluation HDR, activation code B)
  - m&h Infrared tool setter IRT35.70 and pick up tool setter IRPT35.40
  - m&h Temperature probe IRP25.50-TP

• HDR (High Data Rate) and HDR+ infrared transmission eliminate interference from ambient light
• Supports bidirectional and monodirectional operation
• Direct connection to the machine control without requiring an additional electronic module
• Compact design allows flexible installation in nearly any machine tool: the receiver can be mounted either in or on the machine wall using a mounting bracket or a swivel/tilting holder. Alternatively, it can also be mounted directly in the machine spindle head.
• Waterproof sealing according to IP68
