Kinematic base plates are ideal for repeatable, automated measurements on coordinate measuring machines (CMMs). The base plate remains permanently mounted on the machine and, with the aid of precision positioning spheres, enables the fast, accurate, and highly repeatable positioning of kinematic fixture plates. The universal kinematic base plate is compatible with various kinematic fixture plates, providing maximum flexibility for a wide range of measurement applications.
